I didn't realize the big difference between Italian and Mexican oregano until I ran out of one and tried the other. Honestly, a huge difference in flavor profile. I now keep plenty of both on hand. This was a great buy.Ordered 3 of these in total now because I use it so much in my hot sauces. Always fresh product, and never any stems or stones or hard bits in it. I add it to sauces after they have been blended/cooked. While leaves soak up the sauce and soften to be edible, and add such an aromatic fresh flavor profile.Must have if you're trying to copy Tommy's Original Hamburgers chili recipe!!!Great packaging, other than the fact it was plastic. Amazing price and high quality. Someone once recommended thar I rub this kind of oregano through my fingers as I put it in the dish I’m making. Wow! What an intense, wonderful scent. If you haven’t tried Mexican oregano yet I highly recommend it.I use this for homemade salsas, and a lot of other recipes.Good deal and good flavor. Really all you need for a spice.So many leaves and buds, so few bits of stem, and the taste and aroma when crushed are quite strong. Great value for the price.I love Mexican oregano, but it's been unavailable at our local grocery for months so I order this from Amazon. It's a large quantity, smells and tastes delicious. I'm very satisfied with this product.
